During the month of December, with the support of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the financial support program for refugees from Ukraine, the Red Cross of Montenegro has distributed earmarked funds for 1,568 persons.

The aim of the program was to enable individuals who fled from Ukraine and who fulfil the criteria to prepare for winter.

The criteria were the following: persons who left Ukraine after 24 February 2022, with temporary stay in Montenegro, who do not receive financial support from some other organization, who have temporary protection documents or proof they submitted the request for temporary protection.

Additionally, persons who applied for financial assistance had to belong to some of the following categories: household with a member under the age of 18, household with a member above the age of 60, household with a member who is a person with disability or with chronic disease, household with a member who is pregnant or breastfeeding, women who travel alone/unaccompanied.

Interested citizens of Ukraine submitted applications through the Access RC application, which was available on Android and IOS devices.

During the allocation of limited funds, the most vulnerable persons were prioritized, taking into consideration different risks and factors that displaced people are facing with.

Протягом грудня за підтримки Міжнародної федерації товариств Червоного Хреста і Червоного Півмісяця та за допомогою програми фінансової підтримки українців, які вимушено залишили Україну, Товариство Червоного Хреста Чорногорії надало допомогу 1568 особам.
Метою програми була підтримка українців, які вимушено покинули Україну в звязку з війною, та відповідають критеріям програми з метою підготовки до зими.

Критерії включення були наступними: люди, які залишили Україну після 24.02.2022 року через конфлікт, які тимчасово перебувають на території ЧорногоріЇ, які не отримували фінансову допомогу від інших неприбуткових організацій та мають статус тимчасового захисту та мають документальне підтвердження.

Також люди, в родині яких є особи молодше 18 років, люди, в родині яких є особи похилого віку, люди, в родині яких є особи з інвалідністю або хронічними захворюваннями, люди, в родині яких є вагітни жінки або матері, що годують грудьми, а також жінки, що подорожують без супроводу.

Зацікавленні особи мали можливість подати заявку через мобільний додаток AccessRC для гаджетів, що підтрімують Android або iOS.

Під час розподілення виділених коштів та у звязку з обмеженими можливостями, в першу чергу було фінансовано найбільш вразливе населення, а також були враховані різні ризики та фактори, з якими зіштовхуються вимушено переміщені особи.
