These days, the Red Cross of Montenegro organized the distribution of 200 humanitarian packages for socially vulnerable families and individuals, which consisted of basic hygiene items.

The aid, which was sent to the Red Cross by the Embassy of the State of Qatar, based in Belgrade, is a form of support in the implementation of humanitarian activities aimed at repairing the socio-economic consequences of the pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus.

In order to provide the necessary assistance, the Red Cross of Montenegro distributed the mentioned assistance to the endangered population through its Red Cross Branches in Bar and Budva, as well as the City Branch in Golubovci.

“We owe great gratitude to the embassy of the State of Qatar, which has not forgotten us even in the most difficult moments. The consequences caused by the Covid-19 virus are still present, and according to forecasts, they will continue, which indicates the fact that in the coming period there will be a need to provide assistance to socially vulnerable families. With the support of partners and donor friends such as the Qatar Embassy, ​​we will continue to provide assistance to those who really need it, and unfortunately, there are more and more of them every day.”
