The second training for providing Home care services started on Friday in the Training center of the Red Cross of Montenegro, House of Solidarity, in Sutomore.
The training is organized within the “Conex” project, which is supported by the Austrian Red Cross and Austrian Development Agency (ADA). The training is primarily targeting unemployed women who are registered at the Employment Agency of Montenegro.
The training will last until September 7 and the following topics will be discussed: family relationships, mental issues among older people, social activities, First aid, Healthy ageing, stress management, team work, psychosocial support, communication, recognizing abuse of older people…
There will be 8 more trainings for 200 professional home helpers in total. They will acquire necessary skills and knowledge for supporting older people to live in their known environments.
This second training is attended by 18 women from Bar, Budva, Danilovgrad, Tivat, Herceg Novi, Šavnik and Pljevlja.
