Thanks to achievements in medicine, people are living longer than ever. With a little support, it is possible to live a dignified and quality life in the comfort of one’s home and familiar surroundings, even in old age. The Red Cross of Montenegro is a licensed provider of home care services for older and persons with disabilities. The quality of our service is ensured by trained personnel and the standards we adhere to in delivering this support. To date, we have provided this service to over 1,000 satisfied elderly individuals across Montenegro.
The assistance we offer is tailored to the specific needs of our beneficiaries, improving their quality of life, reducing loneliness, and providing families with the peace of mind they deserve.
If you or a family member require support with daily activities, you can contact the Center for Social Wellfare in your municipality or our Local Red Cross Branches in Bar, Budva, Tivat, Cetinje, Nikšić, Kolašin, Mojkovac, Bijelo Polje, Berane, Petnjica, Andrijevica, Plav, Gusinje, Rožaje, Plužine, and Pljevlja.
Voluntary Blood Donation
Blood is the only human-origin medicine that must always be available on time for patients in need. Help us ensure safe supplies of blood for everyone who requires it. The Red Cross of Montenegro promotes voluntary blood donation, motivates citizens to donate, and organizes blood donation campaigns.

Learn first aid
Medical emergencies such as heart attack or suffocation often occur. In situations like this, timely provision of assistance could be of crucial importance. We train individuals and groups to provide First aid and manage the situation until the medical team arrives.
Water rescue training
Water rescue is an activity of the Red Cross of Montenegro that operates within the Program of Preparation and Action in Accidents. The Red Cross of Montenegro professionally implements activities related to improving the safety and preservation of human life in the aquatic environment. The Red Cross of Montenegro is a partner of state bodies in carrying out activities of general importance and interest. The Red Cross has the task of providing a sufficient number of professionally trained lifeguards, to provide beaches and swimming pools with a sufficient number of professionally trained lifeguards.
