Organizational development
  • initiates, organizes and implements or participates in regular and extraordinary solidarity campaigns in Montenegro to provide assistance to vulnerable people and victims of natural, ecological, and other disasters resulting in mass suffering, epidemics, armed conflict in the country and abroad, and keeps in stock certain quantities of material goods for such needs;
  • co-operates and participates in international assistance ( relief and solidarity campaigns;
  • organizes and implements technical training for lectures on First Aid for drivers in cooperation with the relevant medical institution, keeps records on the training and issues relevant statements of expertise regarding the lecturer’s skills;
  • Organizes and implements first aid training for driving candidates in cooperation with the relevant medical institution, carries out the exams, keeps records and issues statements on passed first aid exams, trains members of the police, fire brigade and others
  • organizes first aid training in the work place in cooperation with the relevant medical institution, in accordance with provisions on safety in the work place;
  • organizes and trains disaster preparedness teams in the area of social welfare protection, hygiene-epidemiological protection, care of the injured and sick, water and mountain rescue, psycho-social support to the population and in co-operation with state bodies implements the disaster preparedness programme;
  • in co-operation with services and health institutions for blood transfusion popularizes voluntary blood donation, gathers/recruits voluntary blood donors, keeps record on them, defines criteria and hands out certificates to voluntary blood donors;
  • organizes the water rescue service and mountain rescue service carries out the rescuers training fro the respective services, keeps records and issues certificates on the skills, organizes once a year a refresher course and check up of physical preparedness of life guards and rescue and
  • Implements ongoing education and keeps the population informed concerning the awareness of mines and other explosive devices.
  • Conducts Tracing service affairs, according to the Geneva Conventions on the protection of victims of war, from August 12th 1949, and its Additional Protocols.
